Three market models

P2P, bot inventory and instant sell solve different problems.

P2P

The seller normally keeps the item until a buyer pays, then sends it through Steam. Fees can be low, but delivery depends on the seller.

Bot inventory

The item is deposited to platform inventory before sale. Delivery can be simpler, while seller fees or spreads may be higher.

Instant sell

The seller accepts an immediate quote instead of waiting for a buyer. It prioritizes speed, not necessarily the highest net price.
