Marketplace review / Ranked

DMarket review
DMarket publishes a broad mix of marketplace models and detailed trade requirements, although actual selling and withdrawal costs vary by item, liquidity and payout method.
Documented strengths
- Bot, F2F and instant-sale routes are available in one product.
- The official FAQ documents Steam requirements and KYC triggers.
- Seller-fee ranges and the F2F fee are published.
Limits and unknowns
- A single headline fee does not describe every item or transaction type.
- Withdrawal fees and minimums depend on the selected provider.
- Regional restrictions include Russia and Belarus and may change.
Our verdict
DMarket covers more transaction models than a single-label marketplace review suggests. Users can encounter bot inventory, direct Face2Face trades and instant-sale offers. That flexibility is useful, but the fee and settlement path must be checked for the exact route rather than inferred from one headline percentage.
Why the fee is not one number
DMarket publishes a usual CS2 marketplace selling range of 2% to 10%, tied to item liquidity. It separately lists a 4% Face2Face fee and notes that selected items can receive different promotional rates.
This means a statement such as “DMarket has a 2% fee” is incomplete. The relevant number is the fee attached to the item and transaction model on the final confirmation screen.
Bot, F2F and instant-sale routes
Bot transactions move the item through platform inventory. Face2Face trades connect users through a direct Steam flow. Instant selling accepts a displayed offer rather than waiting for a marketplace buyer.
Each solves a different problem. A normal listing lets the seller set an asking price but may take time. An instant quote prioritizes speed but can sit below the price a patient seller might obtain. We do not describe either route as more profitable because the outcome depends on the actual quote and eventual sale.
Withdrawals and KYC
DMarket exposes multiple payout providers, with availability, minimums and fees varying by account and country. The final withdrawal screen is therefore the primary source for net payout cost.
Official help states that KYC applies to payment methods requiring verification. Its published KYC flow is 18+ and can request identity and address documents. Steam trading also requires an eligible account, Steam Guard, a public inventory and a current Trade URL.
Regions and unresolved limits
DMarket’s help center explicitly excludes Russia and Belarus. Other payment and sanctions restrictions may also affect access. Users should not assume that being able to browse listings confirms eligibility to trade or cash out.
What the score does not prove
The rating measures public clarity across the full product. It does not certify every seller, guarantee an instant-sale quote or predict the time a listed item needs to find a buyer.
